The components of the jig offer the best of many worlds. The skirt is hand-tied onto the jig head using thick, 210 denier flat wax nylon thread. The skirt itself is made of both copper craw color-shift and orange pepper standard silicon as well as brown round rubber (which floats) for flare. The head is double-coated in brown powder paint, then finished with a UV clear coat and cured for added durability. The dark brown permanent trailers are tied onto the jig collar and made of rabbit fur (“zonker strips”) cut extra wide so they can stand the test of time (and many lunkers chomping on them!).
