The owners of the company, Scott Garman and Roger Haas, are both competitive bass tournament fishermen with many years of fishing knowledge. Knowing what lure designs catch fish and alternatively, lures that do not perform, give Pro Point Fishing Lures a clear creative advantage. Scott Garman has over 18 years of experience in lure design and development while Roger Haas advises on lure colors and rigging techniques. Both partners working together have created a highly productive working team. Our ideas when developing a new lure start with research of the concept including lure size and shape. Once the mental image is fixed, a hand carved model is made. At that point, months of trial and error ensue until a perfectively balanced fish catching lure is produced.

All of our lures are rigorously tested at lakes across the USA by top tournament fishermen and Elite Series Pros. The feedback value helps us to adjust and refine the new lure to its highest fish catching level. This is the level we call, The Pro Point.
